Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. Divided Chicken Wings
  • 1/2 Cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. coarse sea salt
  • 4 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 4 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. ground mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. Down The Hatch - Pepper Flakes

Directions

  1. Combine the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Pat dry 5 lbs. of divided chicken wings to remove any excess moisture.
  3. Place the wings in a large mixing bowl or a 1-gallon ziplock bag and coat them evenly with the dry rub.
  4. Allow the wings to sit at room temperature while preheating your smoker to 225-250°F.
  5. Arrange the wings on the smoker, ensuring a little space between them to allow the smoke to circulate evenly.
  6. Smoke the wings until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  7. Preheat your grill to 325-350°F when the wings are close to being done.
  8. Transfer the wings to a pan and then to the grill, laying them out evenly.
